Each year the City’s budgeting process begins in late summer. City Council workshops are held throughout the fall with a preliminary budget and levy being established by September 30 for each year, and the final levy is certified by the City Council in December.
A presentation and public hearing are held at the December City Council meeting. Public input is welcome at the meeting. Anyone having questions, comments, or concerns is urged to attend this meeting.
Capital Improvement Plan
The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a ten-year plan to provide and maintain Little Canada public facilities, balanced against the constraints of available resources.
